My dad has bought a 2009 T5 van in white.

The paint is milky and dull and there’s an obvious difference in the outer panels compared to the Door shuts etc where UV and other factors hasn’t penetrated. I want to restore the paint as well as I can but I don’t have access to or the knowledge of how to use a rotary or DA polisher.

What can I do on the driveway by hand to try and restore the paint?

Thanks in advance.

Auto Finesse have got some good 3 stage packs you could try. But I'd definitely get an electric polisher of some kind for something that size.

An electric polisher for 40 quid off ebay with a white foam head and a bottle of farecla G3 is all you need

I'll second that, even a cheap DA polisher will be miles better and easier than by hand.

Argos do one for £40 and comes with a two year warranty. Almost impossible to damage the paintwork with it and as suggested just get some G3 polish at Halfords.

Pretty much nothing in the context you describe, particularly on a van. You really need a machine.
