I’m trying to remove a small spot of superglue from a fabric seat. I’ve tried some nail varnish remover but it doesn’t want to budge, I’ve been told to try paint thinners anyone know if this is ok before I melt the seat cover.

I will obviously try in an out of sight area first.

Thinners might work.
What about glue De-bonder might be worth a try ?

I’ve ordered a debondwr from amazon so will give it a try.

Got a bit off by using the acetone and a plastic scaper.

Just to update if anyone else has the same.

As recommended above I got some Bob Smiths de bonder from Amazon.

It works well took multiple applications to break it down but I would say it’s 99.9% gone I can sort of still see the mark but I don’t think anyone else would.

Glad it worked out

I had a bit of sealer on my seat and it worked as well.
