Metal backed slim number plates ?

Hi guys, I need a supplier of standard looking, ie not raised / embossed letters, in a metal slim type number plate. Can easily find the embossed, but not just a flat letter type. My plates fit into a plastic plate holder, and only the thin metal type fits, does anyone know of a supplier ?

I bought a pair of standard Halfords plates yesterday and they are thin aluminium. Not sure exactly how thin you are looking for but they were about half the thickness of the existing plastic ones.

thank you for your replies, as crazy as it sounds, I never thought to ask Halfords, I could even take the car there and ask there advice, they can take a look at the holder before they make up the plates
