This is going to be unpopular, but mine is Rover Purple Amaranth.

Think the purple/pink/electric blue flip you got on Rover 100's, 200's and Minis.

Porsche, BMW, Lambo and Aston colours for me.
Bentley also do some great ones but I don't know their names!

In no particular order:
Porsche Rubystone red, Mexico/Riviera blue
BMW Estoril blue and Technoviolet...violet
Aston greens (Viridium, Appletre, Racing, Kermit), Flugplatz blue, Amethyst purple
Lambo Verde Ithaca, Celeste Phoebe, SE30 purple, Arancio Borealis

The Midnight Blue on my Yamaha FJ1200 I bought new in '89.
Not so much in dull weather, but absolutely gorgeous in full sun.

Saab did a metallic orange in 1982 ish ,it was called red gold.

Hardly anyone bought a car in that shade and it was dropped after only 1 or 2 years.

ETA....Google images didn't have a car in that colour but a list of Saab colours I found lists it as available 82-83 only.

That blue is very much like the FJs Midnight Blue I suspect. Black until the sun comes out.
Just remembered an unmemorable BMW K100RS I also owned. Bland bike, but loved the Lava red.

I'm not one for in your face colours. One of my personal favorites is BMW's Le Mans blue. I had an E90 in that colour and they've not made a mainstream blue anywhere near as good since.

I'm the same as you and I love that colour. Had it on both my E53 4.8iS and E90 330i.
