Worth repairing Cat N damage to car?
Discussion
I've got a <£1000 banger (old Honda HRV) that recently had the passenger door banged into. Not my fault, and I've got £950 from the third part insurer for a Cat N total loss.
I don't know whether it's best to spend this money on another <£1000 banger or get this one repaired (I like this car, but its MOT is due as well).
Is this damage repairable, and if not how much would I expect to pay for a new door? The inside of the door isn't really affected, but the door doesn't close flush.

The door's had it.
Any other damage to the pillars that might be preventing the door closing flush or is it just the door damage?
If there are other issues with the car then let it go.
If it's otherwise OK & no problems then consider looking at breaker's ads on ebay etc & buy & fit a door from one that's being broken.
MOT wise the requirement for the passenger door is:
"Driver and passenger doors must open from the outside using the relevant control.
Driver and front passenger doors must also open from the inside using the relevant control."
