Anyone used this stuff? It's a rust converter, and gets decent reviews, but I'm a bit old skool, and struggle with the concept of how water based products can possibly genuinely assist in the removal of rust. Especially when you are instructed to wash the product off with water after use!

I'll be delighted if someone can verify the good things I hear about it.

Hi. They have car specific products and they seem to review well, but there's nothing like hearing about real world experiences.

Yes, have a bottle at home - it works surprisingly well. While it is water based, the active ingredient is tannic acid IIRC.

Thanks. I'm friends with a local supplier and will get it half price, just wondered about peoples real world experiences. I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Evo and a 1988 Mk1 MR2, both of which are in reasonably decent nick, and I want to try and at least keep them that way or improve on their condition if possible.
