Hi
Part time I am a Boxster 986 specialist and present the cars to a high standard.

A friend of mine has a 2007 911 997 convertible that I offered to spend a good few hours on as he is planning on selling.

What would the following cost if taken to a pro detailer or similar?

The words carried out:

All 4 wheels removed and decontaminated, and sealed
Arches cleaned thoroughly
Scuttle panel cleaned out and drains cleaned
Engine bay light clean
Exterior snow, rinse, wash, rinse, clay, rinse, wash, rinse
Exterior polish and wax
Glass cleaned
Leather cleaned and treated
Plastics cleaned and treated

I did not machine polish or cut the paint as it did not require it

Pics before:

During:

And finished:

What do you guys think and what would this cost to have done? I am not charging my mate as he has helped me out a lot in the past smile

Many thanks

Bezerk

Why would you rinse wash and rinse again after claying?

Claying will leave residue on the surface plus when drying the vehicle, you want to do this ‘as one’

Looks really well!

I'd have thought it would need polished after claying, no?

Why do you want to know a cost if your not charging him?

I will be doing a mates car for him as he does mechanical work for me.

Neither of us charge each other, so I would never say "oh if a detailer did this it would cost you X amount" in the same way he never says "If a garage did this it would cost you X amount"

If your after a price because your thinking of charging it as a side line to your main business that is different, and as such just ask that.

Oh and nice lift.
