Sonax brilliant shine detailer?
Discussion
Morning guys I hope everyone and theirs are doing okay! Just to clarify I’m not a detailing nut who’s up all hours of the night cleaning his car lol key worker unfortunately hence the stupid o clock post lol right so seeing as it’s lockdown I’ve got some more free time to give the car some attention. Got my hands on some sonax BSD which I’ve being meaning to try for some time. Slightly confused after reading up on it and watching YouTube videos. Do I apply to a wet or dry car? Do I dilute the solution or just use neat? Any thing else I should know? I realise it’s just a quick detailer but it’s what suits me better, I seem to do more damage then good when working with anything else and I have a black car so I have to extra careful. Weathers improved a huge deal lately and Seeing as it’s lockdown, besides working, chasing the kids around the house, garden workouts and bbqs I think I can fit a decent wash in once a week,
Any help appreciated

I really like this stuff, and sonax PNS as well if you want something that will last a bit longer.
I always use it neat on a very clean car. It does go on easier if the car is a bit damp which is great if you don't want to spend ages going through a full drying routine as well.
Spray it onto an applicator pad / microfibre cloth rather than directly on to the car and that'll help avoid streaks and you missing any drips which are a pain to get rid of later if they've properly dried on.
I don't remember it going on very well in the heat either so avoid applying in direct sunlight, especially with a black car.

Cheers guys, will give it a go as a drying aid (on damp car) would you suggest first application I do it on a dry car and then as a top up apply on a wet car, or just skip straight to wet panels? Also interested in p&s beadmaker, any info on this product? To my understanding it’s not as great in protection and beading, but great for a silky smooth finish and shine, thinking to lay a base coat of the BSD down on maybe a dry car then top up with bead maker, then going forwards obviously repeat, or would this be a stupid idea? Maybe even mix the 2, I know it’s been tried by popular YouTube detailers before but the mix ratios were only 50/50 so didn’t quite work
I use it after I’ve used my waffle towel to take up excess water but with the surface still damp.
Spray a bit on to an applicator and do one panel at a time. Wipe on with applicator , wipe off with clean micro fibre.
A little goes a long way.
Great product , good results with little effort.
