I'm looking to try and rejuvenate the leather seats in my car, as although they are physically clean and in good nick the leather is very matt and feels dry, and I was hoping there was a product such as wax, that might give them a glossier sheen and be softer to the touch?

I've got some autoglym leather cream, which when applied does give the leather some sheen but after a day or so it's back to matt colouration again. I'm sure I caught an image somewhere online of someone applying a kind of wax to rejuvenate the leather, but I could be wrong.

Any ideas of products I could use that will soften the leather and make it glossier in appearance for more than a day?

I have the same problem. Im also worried about further cracking if they dry out any more.

I have some of this stuff on the way. Will report back after i use it.

For very dried out leather, it's worth trying neatsfoot oil. It's light enough to have a chance of penetrating the surface coating of the leather. And it's cheap compared with most of the branded products.

Thanks for the responses; it's a 2008 Saab 9-3 (for all I know the seats aren't real leather mind!), I'll give some of that Maguires stuff a go and see what results I get. The car's just sat in the garage at the moment with a once-a-week trip out to the shop, so not sat in direct sunlight which I thought might have been causing the leather to dry out so quickly after I'd treated it with the Autoglym stuff I already have.

I recommend Colourlock products for all things leather.
