Clean or Refresh of a parcel shelf/vanity cover

I have a 2016 BMW X5 and it has one of those retractable parcel shelf/cover thing in the boot.
It's had a good foam clean and whilst comfortable it's now clean and scrub and is free of dirt, but as you can see from the image it looks flat and clearly not of the original colour due to UV fading or equivalent.
Anyone had any success in revitalising or refreshing something similar?
I thought about back to black bumper spray or tyre spray but I guess they are designed for external use, concerned about potential damage this may cause.
No idea what material it is, I'd guess rubber/plastic/pleather compound.
