I purchased a replacement used front wing to replace a badly dented one. The replacement wing is generally in good condition except a small area has micro blisters. I'm thinking about trying to wet sand them off and buff with a heavy cut compound on my DA polisher. I haven't wet sanded before - would it be best to start with 1000 grit and work up to 3000 grit? Here is a picture of the blisters:

It's highly unlikely you will remove them by sanding and buffing.
All you will do is take the top off and open the blisters up.It will look even worse.
