Scratch repair

Driving home from shopping today, and I clipped a low lying branch sticking out of a hedgerow.

It caught the side skirt of my 420d.

I have polished out what I can by hand with auto finesse triple.

Do you think it’s worth giving it a go with a machine polisher?

Not major damage but equally as annoying
