Recommend a Bodyshop in Kent?
Discussion
I need to get some work done on my S2000.
The replacement front wings and front bumper need respraying and aligning. Also the arches on the wings are rolled slightly (annoyingly)
They're almost a match for the car, but too light in colour.
I've been quoted, astonishingly, £1620 to do this working including blending into the doors and bonnet. This seems crazy money to me, or is this the going rate?
I'm in the Ashford area and would appreciate any recommendations in Kent.

If you want a really good job done, go to Pete / Wayne Darwell at Mech Spray in Rochester. I did a quick course with them to convert from cellulose I used way back in my history to the more recent paints. It won’t be the cheapest, but will be good.

Price is going to depend a lot on prep required and colour, could be a bit heavy but it really depends on a lot of factors.
My daughter’s MX5 in pearl white was a bugger to match, 3 different layers (white, pearl and lacquer) and very dependent on the amount you laid on to get a perfect match. You could change the base colour massively with a few grams of extra pearl, direction of laying on, or with a slightly thick coat of clear! It took 22 spray outs from the original codes before touching the car with paint at adjusted weights and lacquer layers. If it is that kind of paint, the price is not extortionate IMHO, and that is a lot of blending on yours too.
