What do I need and where can I get, some refill for my water vessel (whatever’s in it..)
It now tends to leave water spots after the final rinse so I’m assuming it’s now spent?
I’m in a hard water area.

Cheers.

Buy a water tester while you're there (or ebay as theyre the same but cheaper). You can test your own water and it will also indicate when the resin is running out of puff.

Black car - makes it so much easier to avoid swirls and scratches.
This has lasted about 3 years and I use it on 2 cars regularly.

Thanks for the other replies - now I know what I need thumbup

You can't wash the car often or have very hard water if it lasted 3 years

Given how much limescale we get around here don't see it lasting more then a year

I bought one of these to clean the car (mine are all black too). It's a good idea to get a TDS meter so you can tell when the ppm is above say 30ppm (which will then probably show visible watermarks).

It also does a brill job of the windows !
I connect a long hose to the output of the filter, and then go round the house with a soft brush and spray with the hose...leaves them spotless. I even strap on my big boy pants and brave doing the upstairs ones too. biggrin

Twice a month possibly.
It takes about 60 seconds to give one final rinse with this - doesn’t use much water.
Our water is hard, tastes lovely.

30ppm output, not input.

I know but 30ppm shouldn't cause any sort of noticeable water spots

Agreed - but it's an indicator that the resin is exhausted, otherwise it would still be reading 0ppm - therefore it's time the resin was changed. If you didn't change the resin then pretty soon the output would be back up to 350ppm.

Haven’t a clue how hard our water is, but it’s hard rather than soft, medium or whatever.
Only just now getting water deposits from the vessel.

I order mine from vyair.
Think it’s MB 115, usually split a bag with my brother as the 25kg bag is enough for just over 2 full refills.
