So after sanding down a chip repair, the top part of the damage, I’m now trying to buff it all out using tcut and polish, however the bottom part has emerged and im not sure why? I was using 2000 and 3000 wet and dry paper. Any idea what it is and how to get rid of it? Thanks, Josh.
Oh dear, looks like you've gone through the clear coat. Did you use a block when you sanded it? I always prefer to shave high bits down then block them.
I thought that might be the case, would using a clear lacquer on it repair it? I’ve got a touch up pen from the neighbours blue Audi, it looks clear in the bottle though so wouldn’t cause any harm? 😂
