Hi,

Restoring a 69 Year Marcos which i am going to keep orange as original but so many shades/colour codes to choose from.

I saw a lovely early Porsche recently that inspired me, orange bodywork, black vrm plate, dark interior and black wheels, was a good match, no silver or chrome on the car at all.

Any recommendations welcome re a lovely orange to choose from, the photo of my car looks red but is definitely orange,

Looks very interesting, if it were me I'd be keeping the factory colour, at least for the paint.

I painted a car recently in an Alfa Romeo Orange, which was from an Alfa Romeo Montreal of a similar vintage to your car. That was a stunning colour, so maybe worth a look.

Personally I would spend some time paint correcting a portion of the body where the paint was sound to get an idea if the original colour is one that you are happy to stay with or not, in it's current condition you can't tell what it would look like as new paint.

If you like it I'm sure you could get it matched or go to the owners club to get more details on what the paint is likely to be
