Am I doing this all right?
Discussion
This is slightly different to my other thread as I'd like to know if I am doing this right.
So I used Autoglym SRP on my fleshly cleaned car, then coated it with Autoglym EGP to seal it. Lovely finish on it now.
I have purchased some Autoglym pure shampoo to wash the car regularly. Once the EGP has worn out (I assume after a month or 2) can I just wash and dry the car and then reapply? Or does it need to be polished again before? I am aware that polish is an abrasive and I don't want to overdo it.
Edit - Or, do I want to currently just wash and then use some sort of spray wax after washing? Then in a couple of months reapply EGP and then go back to spray waxes after washes?
Thanks

Autoglym isn't very abrasive (if at all), you'd do well to go through the clearcoat with this product. SRP is classed as a 'filler', the resin fills the swirl marks rather than polishing them out. You could top up the SRP with EGP every couple of months or so. It's easy to apply so why not more often? I use a detailing spray every other wash to my car is always slick to the touch. It makes washing loads easier too.

So if I stuck to using the SRP every few months and then maybe every 2 months after a wash use the EGP again? Then in-between washes use some sort of spray wax? Could you recommend which detailing spray you use?Currently I have Turtlewax wax it wet spray, which i've had lying around for a while. I am aware it probably isn't very good, so a better suggestion would be appreciated, to use after I wash the car.

Just 'suck it and see' regarding re-application. I tend to 'wax' my car more regularly than it needs just because I like doing it! I've tried Bilt Hamber detailing spray but it took quite a bit of buffing to remove smearing. This is much better https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07N8MR7XC/?coliid=I6Y...Currently I have Turtlewax wax it wet spray, which i've had lying around for a while.
