A long time off yet but my next balmy idea , a roof chop and customise a vw beetle . Does anybody out there know if a windscreen can be custom made ? Cheers in advance .
Early cars have a flat screen don't they ? you'd probably be able to find someone to make one, if its curved it will be more tricky - might be best to have an original screen cut down in that case.
I've seen chopped beetles so its not an untrodden path.
Cheers Crafty , thank you for the reply , the beetle is the 1600 with the curved screen ( old M reg ), I have since found out they can be cut down , looks like that might be the way forward.
