Ceramic Coating

All,

Looking at getting the car ceramic coated. Any advice of what the best stuff to look for is. Any do's or dont's as far as glass and wheels?

Any suggestions of good places to go and what kind of costs I should be expecting would be helpeful.

I had my 911 done using CarPro CQuartz. Took 3 days to do to allow for drying time. £600. Well worth it and would do it again. You need to get a top up every so often, depending on mileage you do.

I had Cquartz Finest Reserve on my MX5 a year ago when I bought it. It looks great when it's clean but needs "topping up" with something called Reload every 3-6 months (it's like a quick detailer) or the beading stops, it makes me wonder how much the "coating" achieves and how much the topper achieves.

It provides zero resistance to microscratches and swirls either. Consider me unconvinced.
