gtechniq c2v3 and tar remover

I try to keep my cars topped up with gtechniq c2v3 as it seems to give a decent level of protection from the elements.

Over the past year or so I've found myself spending far too much time (like an extra hour) furiously scrubbing the areas of the car that seems to attract the most tar, as opposed to simply using some tar remover.

I've been doing this because I can't seem to find a definitive answer on how you deal with tar remover and gtechniq c2v3. The way I see it, here are my options:

Leave the tar on the car (as well as the c2v3) and then once a month or maybe two, whip out the tar remover. Obviously then I'd have to also redo the c2v3. Trouble with approach is I'm too fussy and simply couldn't just leave that tar in situ!

Another option is to use tar remover and top up c2v3 every wash. Even I (Mr fussy) see this as a bit overkill. I wash two cars and really can't be doing this every wash.

Or last option is I wait for someone more knowledgeably than I
who informs me of a wonder product that removes tar and doesn't strip the c2v3.

First world problems I know, but please help!

Clay bar can be used to remove tar.
You may even be able to use C2 as a lubricant (although I’ve never tried).

Please don't clay the car to remove the tar - you'll marr the S%^& out of the paint.

Gtechniq's W7 tar remover is excellent and designed to compliment their coatings, having said that it'll remove C2 as that is a sacrificial layer/product.

Wash the car as normal and whilst still wet spray W7 on the sills, rear bumper or wherever else the tar is, wait for a few minutes for the product to do its thing, spray some W7 onto a microfibre cloth and a gentle wipe should be all that is required to remove the tar.
