My drive is at the front of my house, the outside tap is at the back. I’m not a powerfully built director, so it is a mid terrace house.

Recently I got a Worx Hydroshot battery pressure washer, which can take water from a bucket etc. Up until now I have been filling it from the tap, but I am pouring about 4l of “deionised” water down the drain every day from the dehumidifier. Could I use this for the pressure washer? Or at least the final rinse?

Sure absoltly no reason you can't use it for the final rinse
You can buy filters to go on a hose pipe for rinsing your car but they get expensive

It was my Dad mentioning that he was going to get a filter that made me think of saving the water from the dehumidifier for the final rise.

I recently found out that there's a company selling the water from unmanned pumps allover the place, it might be a cheaper way, I filled a 25l bottle for about a quid

Isn’t dehumidified water distilled and not deionised?

Either way I’d use it over tap in the scenario you describe.

Possibly cheaper than his dad getting a filter though

I thought I had read that it was from my dehumidifier and it has an "Ionizer" feature, however I looked through the manual again at couldn't find it mentioned.

It definitely seems worth knowing about.

I'm going to start decanting the dehumidifier water and see how I get on with it.

Could the machine pull in Covid 19?

What about Legionnaires disease?

Because I always lick my car when I have finished detailing it.
