Got a leak in my 06 focus which may be coming from the rear light cluster. Going to take off & seal it up around the screw holes as this may fix it question is which sealant do I use? I was going to use some sealant that I used on my shower tray?

No nonsense roof and gutter sealant from screwfix is non setting and has worked on various bits of cars for me.
Being non setting means you can still remove the parts it’s sealing between down the line if you need to.

Try some of that bitumen tape, it comes in a roll you can apply easily, and may be easier to work with than sealant with is going to struggle setting in this climate.

Do they have any form of seal where they press against the car bodywork - incl round the screws?
Common for a build up of green algae which can then allow the ingress of water - some cars are worse than others.
Remove the light units & clean them & the bodywork.
