DA pads and polish advice - going around in circles!
Discussion
Spent ages on detailing world and just confused myself so need a sense check from someone who knows about these things...
I have a black lexus (very soft paint) and a 2007 mini (hardish paint I understand). Both are in reasonably good condition but do have faint swirlies and water spots, neither have major scratches though.
For the lexus I'm veering towards SonaxPF and starting with a black hex logic, maybe moving to a white pad if the black doesn't sort it. Sound right?
For the mini I'm going for the orange hex logic and GTechniq P1 (which I already have).
I'm not aiming for perfection, just a reasonable job without causing more problems, especially on the lexus which seems to scratch if you breathe on it! Any advice appreciated.
TIA.
