PPF - how do you maintain it?
Discussion
I'm toying with having the new car PPF'd probably not the whole car just the leading edge stuff etc. I'm assuming the installer will clean/detail to get the surface bang on before application.
But what about maintenance, if I detailed the remaining bodywork what about the areas covered in PPF, do they require polished, sealing etc??

Most PPF companies work with or have an in house detailer.
All the cars that I have PPFed the paintwork is enhanced or corrected before application and then ceramic coated.
This gives a hydrophobic layer which also helps to prevent (or give time to remove) insect huts, tree sap etc etc.
