Not quite sure where to put this, hedging my bets by putting it in the DIY section as well

I will be refitting some BMW plastic trim using their plastic blind rivets. Can you use a normal pop rivet gun or do you need a riveter specifically for plastic rivets. I know you can use pliers, but I’ll be putting quite a few in so would like to use a riveter to save time and effort

"These blind rivets are made from plastic. They fit into a 6mm hole and are common on a range of modern BMW & Mini vehicles. The rivets are commonly found on wheel arch trim and linings, bumpers, sill covers and sideskirts. The clips require a standard rivet gun to fit."
