OE looking black metal paint

Hi guys, couldn't find much like this on the search.

Can anyone recommend a good paint for an OEM finish on the side pillars and wiper arms?

I'm not great at paint finish but I need to up my game for these a bit as they will be very obvious if I get them wrong


It's not a fancy car so I can't justify taking it anywhere.

I occasionally need to redo the black bits on my Range Rover Classic which includes wiper arms, tops of pillars, front grille, bumper metal & the door window frames.

Depending what sort of shiny look - full gloss, satin or matt - you're after an aerosol does the job without any fuss.
Clean, key & degrease the surface then apply sufficient coats to achieve coverage.
No need to clearcoat.
Think I've currently got the U-Pol ones in the van.

So just any brand of spray paint should do it? I've used U-POL before I think. Do you primer them too or just paint?

If the surface is rust pitted than no reason why you shouldn't fill, flat, prime, flat, paint to give a better looking job but if the metal is OK then I just paint it.
Don't think the brand of paint matters, I've used several but best to stick with one in case you need to repeat the job at some point in the future.

Some pillars have a sort of black plastic trim material stuck on not paint - Mrs p's 307 for one.
If that's breaking up you'd be better looking for a sticky black plastic material & replacing the old. Wonder if the car maker's got the idea from Blue Peter

Repainted some T5 wiper arms a while back in this and its a good match.
Not sure on the match for the door trims.
