Hi.

Can anyone tell me what this discolouring is on my cars paintwork?

I was taking out a scratch and this happened.

Looks like you’ve gone through the clear coat!

You've gone through the clearcoat into the colour coat.

The panel will need to be resprayed as putting new clear over the damage won't restore it.
