Ceramic Coating on Van?

Evening,

My Dad collected a brand-new Ford Transit Custom two weeks ago and he had anticipated ceramic coating it but he is getting it sign written tomorrow and during discussions with the sign writer, he was advised not to ceramic coat it before it is sign written. Question is, will it be OK to ceramic coat the van afterward? Thank you.

The sign writer said he’s not too sure himself as he hasn’t come across a van driver who wanted to ceramic coat a van.

He was cautioned against ceramic coating it before the sign writing is done as the stickers won’t stick properly when applying them.

Yes it's not a good idea to ceramic coat before the sign writing otherwise they'll have a job getting the vinyl to stick.

Absolutely fine to apply ceramic afterwards.
