Interior Leather Repair

Hello

I noticed a small cut in the leather armrest of my scirocco. At this point it's tiny but wanted it to stop it getting any bigger given the amount of elbow traffic the armrest sees.

I know a smart repair is an option but not sure it's worth forking out for given the size. Does anyone have any other suggestions - Photos attached.

Remove the cover and glue a repair patch on the rear of it.

Furniture clinic do kits to make a repair, used and been impressed (but only to fill cracks and recolour) Crack filler amazing stuff stays flexible after application. If not a hard wear area would try this first. If not successful do repair from rear then recolour. Kit includes repair patch and glue.
