What year car is it? I assume you mean Honda Milano Red (R81)

Do you mean a Halfords aerosol can, containing Milano red.

I’m presuming it’s just a solvent based basecoat, so will need a lacquer over the top. Preferably 2k, but not sure if Halfords would sell that.

Appears to be a solid colour - as in not metallic, pearl etc - so may well be a topcoat & doesn't need a clear over.

But as it's available in both formats the answer is to ask the seller of the paint whether the paint they've sold you is a basecoat which does need a clear over or a topcoat which doesn't.

It depends on the year.

Upto around 1998 I think it was without a lacquer, after that it had a lacquer. My car is Milano Red and went a delicious pink under the lacquer.
