This is hopefully an easy question to answer - I have obtained (no idea where from) a microfibre polishing pad with a built in handle. Not a pad with a handle that attaches via velcro though but it's brilliant and easy to use.

Any idea where I can source one from? The velcro ones are easily available but one with a handle solidly attached (so it doesn't fly off) is proving more difficult.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if this fits your brief but I use this one for hard to reach areas:

Hand polishing is among my most hated activities, to the extent i'm investing in a nano machine polisher to get around it.

Thanks, that looks perfect in design but not the pad - I'm after a hand-held microfibre to buff the polish off, not apply the polish/wax itself.

I had a look at their microfibre range but unless I'm missing something, I can only see the cloths or pads, not a pad with a handle?

I may be missing something and happy to be educated, but why do you want a microfibre attached to a handle for polish removal? For application I can understand as it needs some effort, but polish removal should be a case of a gentle wipe, no effort need be applied which is why a simple towel is often used.

I find ~300gsm twist loop microfibre towels the best for this. I have a stock of these for this purpose

Although I will be moving to similar towels from The Rag Company that have wide a variety of options.

I tend to find buffing off wax (not so much polish) requires a bit of effort and the handle is great for ensuring it’s not dropped - too many times I’ve dropped a cloth.

Basically find a micro fibre with a handle is much easier to use.

Could you give a photo?

Is it a plastic handle attached to the pad, or a fabric loop on the back of the pad?

If I recall correctly, Halfords' own brand microfibre pads have a "pocket" on the back that your fingers go into to hold them.

I was hoping to find it on its own but it seems they're only part of a kit so that'll have to do. Also these Kent pads have a removable handle where as the one I have is permanently attached.

Are you sure it's permanent?

Seems rather a waste if so in a items that's designed for one two uses
Especially seeing as you'd o k be able to use one wide of the pad with the handle perrmently attached
