Use a iron fall out remover - the purple stuff. Someone has probably been doing some metal angle grinding near the car and covered it in tiny metal pieces.

I may have done the same on my car when was doing a little of bit of welding work. The purple fall remover dissolved it straight away biggrin

As above, get some Carpro Iron X, it will sort it.

Some people park near factories that spew stuff out or near railway lines and the metal particles get carried a surpirsingly long distance in the wind.

Had to use the AG Magma 3 times on my bodywork (but it did resemble a rat style car) but im really pleased with how much of it has come off!, Not a fan of the smell or the tingley hands I have now though.

Fallout remover stinks. After using it I have the smell lodged in my nostrils for hours. Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner is the smelliest but also the best wheel cleaner out there. I had Covid recently and cleaning my car was great. I couldn’t smell a thing!

Wash car with dilute solution oxalic acid. About a teaspoon of crystals in a pint of water. Wash car first. Then wipe the solution over the paintwork. Leave 10 minutes. Rinse well. Particles should have been removed, repeat if necessary.

When sorted, apply whatever product you desire e.g. wax polish , whatever.

Used to be able to buy oxalic acid from the chemists,no idea if still possible today.
