I've got a 1973 Rover P5B coupe in Admiralty Blue (Silver Birch roof) and I think it has been resprayed at some stage in its life. It's currently in the bodyshop getting some rust treatment under the windscreens.

I'd like to give it a good go over in preparation for a few car meets and shows next year. I've been using PB Black Hole on some of the hearses and limousines at work with some very impressive results. Would Black Hole be worth it on a 50 year old car?

Handwashed and waxed only - I wouldn't trust the door seals not to leak if I used a jet wash!

Any suggestions for a good product to use on the roof? I think it should get a satin sheen rather than a mirror like finish.

SD.

I’m sorry that I can’t help with your query, but I just have to say that’s a fantastic looking car!

If there’s micro scratches that black hole can fill, then yes.
It only stays for a couple of weeks anyway.
