Hi,

What is the best way to remove the headlight scratch/scuff?

I can feel the scratch and tried g3 farcela scratch remover which somewhat kind of work on the light scratches but the highlighted area not working.

I read using a abrasive compound which can damage the uv coating as I used the g3 farecla for 5-10mins and applied 2-3 coats

If you can feel it then the only option might be sanding.

Personally i would leave it there, it wont affect their function.

Why are you concerned about uv coating, what does that do?

Agree, look at beam, if necessary check the beams and aim. If OK, leave. These are rarely worth the effort in doing.

My understanding is the the UV coating will stop the lens from going yellow and hazing. Happy to be corrected though.

I do know that you can get rattle cans of clearcoat which contain UV protection and it is normally recommended to use it after polishing/refurbishing headlights.
