I have an 11ltr DI vessel and I've started to see a few water marks over the last few washes which I believe it's time to replace the resin.

1) How much resin would I need in an 11ltr vessel?
2) Are resins all the same or are there any preferred options?

Thanks

I probably need to replace my resin soon, so I am interested in any replies.

I've also been wondering if the resin the same as that in a domestic water softener, and if so, can it be refreshed by rinsing it in a brine?

The favourite has always been Tulsion MB-115.

Ebay does it for around £100 for a 25 litre bag.

Seems to be longer lasting than some of the other makes but Vyair sell a good MB-115 on their site.

I use mine for cleaning glass.

Pretty sure it's the capacity of the vessel so it needs just about 11 Litres.

I ended up buying a 25kg bag from Unger, which worked out a hell of a lot cheaper than buying smaller bags. I'll use it over the course of a year or two I guess.

Watched a few videos on-line and it was quite an easy job replacing the resin, just need these storms to pass to give it a whirl.
