I polished my car few months back with meguairs polish and got fantastic result
Today i used the same polish and noticed in the sun that the car has these streaks ? How do I go about getting rid of them use alcohol rub ?

It looks like marring. Also known as swirl marks. It's caused by tiny scratches in the clear coat, from washing the car.I polished my car few months back with meguairs polish and got fantastic result

You can either have it machine polished, or use a polish with filler in it. For example Autoglym Super Resin polish. It's readily available
Which Maguires polish did you use and was it by hand or machine?
Those marks are easily dealt with if you have a dual action polisher or similar?
Every type of polish has an abrasive in it , the difference is the amount of abrasive in it. When machine polishing you might typically start with a heavy abrasive compound which "grinds" away the surface swirls and scratches etc and when your finished the car looks crap !!
It's almost like a very fine sand paper, so you go over the car again but with a less abrasive polish and the shine starts to come back but you can be left with marks like on your car. You can then finish off with a finishing type polish which is very fine and brings the paintwork back to a nice glossy smooth finish.
Think of polishing just like sandpaper heavy grade coarse paper and it shifts and grinds material away, your clear coat, but leaves minor scratch marks,. A medium paper shifts less material away but leaves less scratching and an ultra fine paper removes only very fine bits of material but leaves it nice and smooth.
Car polishing does exactly the same

As suggested it’s difficult to guess without seeing it.
Maybe there was something on the paint washing didn’t remove.
This is a good product to help remove oils, greases etc before polishing.

once you notice this effect on a dark car you will always be looking for it
you can carefully polish it until its nice , needs the correct methods and clean soft cloths
if you cant /dont want to polish it all away theres filler /glazes that go some way to hiding it for a few washes ..can also get holograms from too much wax remaining on the panel
then you need super careful washing and drying to stop it happening
