We had our Alfa Brocken into they smashed the window and damaged the drivers door,
put the car into Alfa main dealer they had the car for 2 mts, when we pick the car up the drivers door bounced open when closing, we have been told this is because new door rubbers have been replaced and will take 8weeks to settle down.
Is this correct or are we being pied off.

Never seen that happen. It never happens in production, and they certainly have new rubber seals!

new rubbers never seem to fit as nice as the originals and can cause the door to be harder to shut for a while, shouldnt be so bad it bounces open
