Extremely fked off as just driving and a lorry who wasn’t looking had so much of the road I had to choose between him and a kerb. The kerb won.

Can this be refurbed?

Yes I would say that is repairable. I had similar damage repaired on a Abarth 595 last year. Where are you based?

Thanks. I’m just outside Basingstoke.

Yep - look diamond cut so be a bit pricier, mind. Not everywhere will do them, but a fair chunk will.

Very easily repairable. Likely around 80-£100.

I've used https://www.cheshirealloys.co.uk/ a few times but he's too far from you I would think.
As above around £100 would cover it.

I had very good results from MyAlloys when I lived down there.

Thanks all. I’ll pop it into My Alloys tomorrow. They’re close to me.

Interested in how you get on/find the service - i've been thinking about using myalloys for a simple paint refurb.

You might be disappointed. They look to be diamond cut face wheels. Have they been refurbished previously? Some of the scrapes look quite deep. You may find that there isn't enough meat left on the rim to allow removal of enough metal to achieve a uniform flat turned surface.

Not as far as I know but I’m prepared for that being the case

Just up the A339 to you in Newbury, Rene at 5* Alloys is a very good next option, will do it on your driveway - meticulous and great attention to detail, one of the few mobile repairers that will do Diamond Cut. Definitely has my recommendation. Mine was the Grey JCW in his gallery

If it’s still in production, can be worth checking how much a brand new wheel is.

Enough BMW's bought and smashed to be able to pick up a mint replacement in the 2nd hand market.

OR

Consider a change of colour / finish and refurb all 4 to one powder coat but please do not go all black.

Also an option. I like the wheels as they are. New ones appear to be around £650 but will look used if this can’t be fixed

Thanks for this - Rene has got back to me to say he thinks it's easily fixable for £110 and will take a couple of hours. That seems very reasonable as he'll come to me.

The “couple of hrs” bit worries me, you don’t refurb a diamond cut alloy properly in a couple of hours.

It's going into MyAlloys later for a look anyway, so they'll be able to say whether it's doable.
