Seagulls, soft top.
Discussion
This is quite a niche query....
This summer, the local seagulls have taken to sitting on my soft top. Quite often, they like to relieve themselves whilst relaxing.
Apparently seagulls (and all other animals, it seems) hate peppermint. I'm thinking of washing the roof as usual with some peppermint oil in the buxket, and then mixing some peppermint oil and water and spraying on the roof.
I think I'm being pretty clever here and can't see any downsides? Surely a natural oil won't have an adverse effect on the canvas?
Other options include:
- slingshot
- spikes glued to roof of car
- sulk and sell car

kers have fancied it though as there's big seagull foot(?)prints all over the bonnet. Hopefully they've been spooked by my car's minty freshness.
