Condensation on new rear aftermarket lenses H
Discussion
Hi I purchased a pair if VLAND rear taillights for my 2018 Swift, fitting was straight forward and all works good, however after a couple of days I noticed mist/condensation on both lenses in the same area ,at the top side of the lens. This did disappear however it as happened again today..We have had a mixture of dry and wet spells ,I have informed the company I purchased from and sent photos ,just waiting on their response..I presume the issue is the seal on the side we're maybe running some flowable silicon glass seleant would help but should I be doing that on new lenses, the website does say you can get moisture on new lenses and it should go after 10 days ,this is on VLAND faq on the website, which I find strange..Never fit aftermarket lenses before and I do like them so if it means doing some sealing yo fix then I will ..Anyone any tips on the way forward .Thanks

Method 2: After the fog inside the car lights appears, it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to eliminate the fog in the lighting state; In a static state, it takes about 24 to 36 hours in a dry environment with a humidity of <50% for fog be eliminated automatically, this phenomenon is fogging. However, when a large amount of fog condenses into water droplets on the inner wall of the lens and then accumulates inside the car lights, as the temperature rises for a long time use, the fog will adhere to the inner surface of the lens once again. This phenomenon is water ingress.
What should we do after judging whether the car headlights are fogging or water ingress?
·If it is water ingress, please send pictures or videos to the customer service staff of the original sales store for after-sales.
·If the surface of the headlight is foggy, please continue to use it for ten days and observe again.
If the fog disappears after ten days, it’s normal. The fog caused the temperature difference between the new lamp and the local temperature after the new lamp left the warehouse.
If it does not disappear after ten days, or if the fog appears again after disappearing, it means it’s a sealing problem of the car lights. Please get in touch with the customer service staff of the purchase channel.
