303 Protectant

I have a new car with a nice mint interior.
It's Japanese (Mazda 2) so whilst it's decent plastic it's obviously a bit on on the hard side v say German plastic.
Historically I use Sonax Cockpit Cleaner and it clean fine.
However in the recent baking heat it has made me wonder whether there's a need/benefit to using something like 303 for the UV protection as the car is literally like a sauna when you open it in the evening.
I know 303 isn't just marketing hype given their aerospace products are widely used but is it actually useful in the UK?
It's warm but it isn't Arizona or Nevada etc.

I quite like 303 as it gives a satin sheen rather than glossy. It works well enough on surfaces that you don't touch such as the tops of the dashboard. On the doors/door cards it gets rubbed off in a nanosecond by your arms and when you open the door when it is raining you can see it being washed off.
