On a Mini

I don’t mind having a go at stuff, but I am not sure how I would repair the panel.

If it’s a smart repair, what should it cost?

That is what I thought. Our "pet" bodyshop wanted £440 and said that was with the "dip" in the panel left alone.

Anyone know a currently good smart repairer in Nottingham please? We had a good 'un but he retired.

just touch it in and deal with it, youll need most of it not all the bumper blown in...or some red tactical wrap will cover it lol

Personally, given where it is, I'd run a touch up brush over it and then see how noticeable it is.

This. Given how close the damage is to the trim panel, you'll be looking at a bumper-off job in order to enable a decent repair.

The problem is, of course, not "how noticeable it is", but the fact that OP will always know it's there...I don't care about these things on my Grand Scénic dog wagon, but on my precious CBR400 it would upset me all the time.

£150 smart repair and good enough. You've got to look for it to see it, and when standing it's not visible. The white splodges are the reflection of my trainers!
