The interior plastic trims on my wife's Polestar 2 have disappointingly not worn well, see photo below. I've tried a few different products to clean them up but they won't get any better than this. Is there a product that will restore them? Autofinesse Dressle maybe?

I am sure you have tried, but from the pic it looks like a lot of that is just ingrained mud/water stains.

I personally know of nothing that helps for more than a week or 2 & short of a full on (costly) repair/replacement. Obviously others may know better than I & will be along shortly.

I'd give them a going-over with a nailbrush or magic sponge and some all purpose cleaner. As above, most of that is just dirt.

I quite like AutoGlym Vinyl and Rubber Care for interior plastics as it's not a sticky shiny goop, others love a gallon of silicone spray.

You need to clean them first, a bucket of hot soapy water and scrub them with an old toothbrush, if they are still dirty after that use a chemical cleaner, I personally use Koch Chemie GS (Green Star), although personally I wouldn't get tied up on brands its all just advertising, you just need a cleaner.

After that you need a plastic trim cleaner which will bring a bit of colour and gloss back, again, personally I use either Koch Chemie Mzr, or CarPro PERL, but again, all brands sell the same thing in various names, just differentiate between a cleaner first and then a polish or treatment to bring back the gloss a bit.

Be aware the products are very slippy so don't put it anywhere near your pedals etc.

As above, toothbrush and some soapy water (washing up liquid mixture is fine) or an all-purpose cleaner to get the muck/out the grain.

For after that, I usually quite like Meguiar's, they do a few different ones for plastic trim.

For plastic trim I'm a bit of a convert to this stuff. I've used in internal and external on "greying" black plastics and its restored them to black which has lasted 12 months on external stuff without the need to redo.

Easy to apply (sparingly) with a cloth and cheap!
