Finally managed to get my alloys 99% clean, I used Autoglym wheel cleaner, I was bought it as a present.

Now the wheels are clean, what is the latest stuff you guy's are using for regular wheel cleaning?
Normally wash my car once a week.
I'm thinking something I can dilute, so don't mind buying 5 litres.

I'd recommend thinking about applying a solid wheel wax to keep the brake dust off the wheels and make them easier to clean.
I use Collinite but there are also dedicated wheel waxes.

Bilt Hambers Autowheel gets mentioned here often as do most of their products, i have used it and it did the job fine.
However one can find alternatives that do the same job, ie iron fall out removers for less than half the cost, i use Dragons Blood when necessary and will do so in a couple of hours on a family car.

For our own cars we don't drive on the brakes so using a gentle wheel brush to agitate normal snow foam as used on the rest of the car keeps them clean, might use DB every 4th wash on my wife's car which has no regeneration.

This.

You only need the wheel cleaner when there is brake dust etc really bonded on the finish.
