Lanoguard or similar, Scotland...

We run a solid Honda CRZ as one of our cars and I know they can get crusty quickly. Can anyone recommend a garage in Scotland; we are in Angus, that can carry out a decent rust proofing? Thanks in advance...

Lanoguard is an easy diy job.

Thanks for this. Is it just a case of getting under the car, giving it a clean and brushing it all over the rot spots?

A friend did this with his Merc SLK... he just put it on stands, cleaned up the subframes as best he could and squirted it with Bilt Hamber Dynax, said it went on easily. They do a clear or a black version depending on what finish you want.

Best to get as much rust off as possible then apply some Fertan to kill any remaining embedded rust before overcoating with Bilt Hamber, Dinitrol or Beoshield.

Lanoguard wouldnt / couldn’t send me any salt spray test results when I asked them…….

If you just want an easy to apply no preparation type product then ACF50 is good but needs a few reapplications throughout the year.

If its clean then you just spray the product on, Bilt Hamber UB if you want black or UC for clear. For cavities its S50.
I normally pressure wash the day before and let it dry, if any rust is visible you need to treat it but the above products do contain inhibitors so will deal with some minor surface stuff.
