Interior/leather protection - sealant or ceramic?

I have cream Nappa leather seats. Car is two years old. What is the best product to use to protect them from going yellow over time due to UV rays, from dye from dark clothing, stains from denim, or any other marks.

I’ve been told a sealant is the best because it is flexible and breathable. Will protect from stains and keep the leather soft and healthy long term.

I’ve also been told to avoid ceramic leather coatings because they can make the leather stiff, dry and crack over time

I don’t want anything that will affect the leather long term, so, I’m thinking of going with the sealant, unless anyone has any recommendations/suggestions?

I have an MX5 RF. I’m guessing I don’t need to use anything on the carpet and car mats? There is not much anyway with it only being a two seater and I don’t think it will fade due to UV or anything like that.

How long would a sealant last on the leather, 12 months?

Use Dr Leather Dye Block. Buy the leather wipes too for cleaning.

Reapply at least every 6 months but you'll probably want to do it every 4 months.

The whole thing, clean with wipes and apply the dye block will only take a few minutes.

Thanks for this. I’m actually going to get my detailer to do it when he valets my car. I’m just trying to work out whether a sealant or ceramic protection is the way to go. Like I said, I’m favouring a sealant. What you have suggested is a sealant which reassures me that my thinking is correct thanks for your help.
