Can anyone recommend me some decent products for the daily please?

I don't need high-end stuff... just something that's not frighteningly expensive and ideally I can get on Amazon or from my local Halfords with the trade card?

I’m pleased you’ve asked, it is not nearly covered enough on here.

Car Chem 1900:1 Shampoo for me

I get the 5litre tubs, when they're on offer. They messed up my last order accidentally sending two 5 litres and didn't want one of them back. That works out at 8 years worth of car washes!

Been through a few brands and attachments for my Karcher in the last 5 or so years.

Finally settled on Autoglym Polar range and the matching "Blaster" lance and couldn't be happier. It works amazing and the foam is luscious to say the least. I also think it's pretty good smelling and pH neutral to boot as my car's been ceramic coated.

Downside is it's not the cheapest.

Autoglym Polar for the snowfoam.

Turtle Wax products are very good these days.

This wash is excellent https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/car...

If you've not used the more modern products before then you don't need very much, mix it with cold or tepid water and don't expect it to have a thick foam/bubbles. It'll barely have any, but cleans well and leaves behind a bit of ceramic sealant ...which is nice.

Hard to beat these choices to be honest, the Autoglym stuff at Halfords is ok if your not that bothered and it must be Halfords.

I chose that for my first attempts. I diluted it 1:5 as per instructions and then applied it with a Nilfisk pressure washer. It was a bit watery, not really foam more soap suds, but it didn't use much so next time I'll mix it stronger. It seems to be a balancing act between product and spraying system.

I looked at the 'Blaster' spray applicator but reviews were mixed.

BTW my car is/was also ceramic coated - how do you know when it's worn off?
