obviously i would only ever recommend Zymol as after trying everything else and never getting close to the same results it is far superior but i would say there are many people out there who like many other guys dont read instructions and end up doing the procedure incorrectly.
depending on the state of your paintwork the first stage would be to klay, then hd cleanse and finally wax with one of the many individual waxes. could you let me have some more details and then i could be more precise.a/ colour of car.
b/did you say car had just been painted if so how long ago.
c/ how many miles per year.
d/age of car
e/area where you live
i hope i can be more accurate when i get these details.
kind regards

Hi there Bergs2, my suggestion would be the full treatment firstly with klay, then the cleanse stage and finally the wax.
ultimatly if the car is guards red and you are only doing 5000mls per year i would suggest concours wax or even a sampler kit with the best waxes available they are good value.
if you buy a klay kit and the smapler kit and some spare buffing towels you will literally have everything that you need. if you need anymore help or you would be looking for someone to apply it for you drop me a line as i know a few of the authorised detailers down there.
all the best for the new year
