Sounds like a dealer will have to clear it for you. Or maybe the AA/RAC will have a fix.
It may clear itself after being left alone for a few hours.
Does the handbook give any clues?

Try disconnecting the battery negative cable for 30 minutes or so, that may reset it.

I'm sure I f you only got it wrong 3 times you just have to wait till the red light on the pad starts flashing again, But it will eventually require a new/replacement ECU
I'm sure I read this some where else!!
