Am keen to get a respray on my 928 and black really suits them but is it going to be a nightmare to keep looking nice ? Will a metallic black be easier than a flat one?

From my experiences metallic black never looks as good after polishing and waxing. A flat black looks awesome but it shows up scratches etc alot more.

Still unsure over black I enjoy getting the car looking good but would not want to spend all my weekends to do so. Any other thoughts on nice looking low maintenance colours for a 928 (inside is amethyst leather which makes I guess limits the external choices)

How about a gunmetal sort of colour?

With due concern for my sanity and the Miami Vice overtones, I also think White suited the 928 well.

Dark Colors will show Dirt, Scratches and Paint Flaws alot more than Lighter Colors.

The Spectrum would run from Gloss Black for Worst to Flat White for Best Hiding Ability.

A Solid Color will be Worst, whereas a Metallic will be Best...in the same color.
